Saad is a steward of NGIF applicants and recipients of funding. He is responsible for technical evaluation of NGIF intake and evaluation projects, and reporting on aggregated quantitative benefits and investment outputs to investors, trusted partners, and industry stakeholders.
Saad is also involved in building and creating relationships with prospective NGIF applicants. Saad brings several years of experience on environmental affairs including research on CO2 reduction, and regulatory impact assessments from carbon pricing and the Clean Fuels Standard spanning the cement and the mining industry.
Saad has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Ottawa and the University of Toronto respectively.
