Sarah plays a key role in NGIF’s strategic and executive communications, promoting its overall reputation with authentic, informative, and creative storytelling. Accountable for NGIF’s brand, she designs strategies that enhance the NGIF platform with investors, startups, media, and trusted partners in the cleantech ecosystem. Sarah believes in the power of collaboration and is deeply committed to sector innovation and environmental performance.
In her 25-year career, Sarah has strengthened recognized brands in the energy, philanthropic, and education sectors at both local and national levels. She brings extensive experience in public relations, digital marketing, and leadership. Most recently, she was the Director of Communications and Marketing for the Canadian Electricity Association.
Active in her community, Sarah currently serves as a board director and committee chair of the Metcalfe Agricultural Society. She spent twelve years volunteering with the Boys & Girls Club of Ottawa and raised more than $3.5M through Ringside For Youth, providing children in vulnerable neighbourhoods with extra-curricular activities.
