RFP | NGIF Seeks Digital Innovator to Redesign Website

July 12, 2021

Venture capital firm NGIF issued an RFP this week seeking a vendor to transform its website to better represent its new business model.

Earlier this year, the organization transformed from an association-led initiative to a corporate entity. NGIF Capital Corporation offers a hybrid investment model and a market-validation platform for start-ups, working with them from concept to commercialization, and offering ready access to markets.

NGIF offers grant and equity financing for startups that deliver solutions to the environmental and other challenges facing the natural gas sector. The site was developed in 2018 when NGIF was an initiative of the Canadian Gas Association, prior to the Corporation becoming a for-profit entity. Now the team is looking to update the site to better reflect NGIF’s corporate position in the marketplace and to showcase its diversified portfolio of investments, strategic partnerships, and a trusted investment model.

The RFP states, “A redesigned website will show the world who we are and what we offer, improve the organization (architecture) and usability (functions) for key audiences, communicate the NGIF brand more effectively, and influence behaviour”.

Vendors interested should read the NGIF DIGITAL INNOVATION WEBSITE REDESIGN RFP detailing the work and submission instructions. Expressions of interest are due July 23, 2021 at 5:00 pm EST with proposals requiring submission no later than August 6, 2021 at 5:00 pm EST.
