Ali spearheads contract management for NGIF Industry Grants, advancing clean technologies to commercialization by ensuring successful delivery of technology development projects. He is responsible for contracting, project monitoring and control, internal and external reporting, milestone review and project closeout phases.
Ali brings more than 10 years of experience in grant making, government contracting, senior-level project management, and organizational management. Prior to joining NGIF, Ali held various leadership contracting roles with a Federal Agency. He led negotiation and management efforts of a multi-year, multi-million-dollar projects in international development, including renewable and cleantech energy projects. Ali worked for various non-profit organizations where he established, managed, and enhanced grant making operational policies and procedures.
Ali has an Executive MSc Degree in Organizational Development from the United States International University, a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Nairobi, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP®).
